Curriculum

Our focus for the 3-5 age groups consists of five areas of the Curriculum:

• Physical Development and Movement
• Emotional Personal and Social Development
• Communication and Language
• Knowledge and Understanding of the World
• Expressive and Aesthetic

Emotional Personal and Social Development

This focuses on the child's social development, encouraging them to respect their friends and themselves and have this reciprocated. We promote self help skills encouraging the children through praise and experiencing positive outcomes. This is a very important part of each child's development as it builds on their confidence enabling them to tackle what the world expects of them. In this area the children experience a wide knowledge of all cultures as well as the environment and the people in their own community.
